In the spring of 2006, I was given the idea to start a consignment sale... 19 sales later, I never could've foreseen how God would use this sale to bless so many. He truly did more than I ever could've asked or imagined. I have spent the past ten years at the helm, but now it is time for the next chapter to unfold! It is with great excitement that I am happy to introduce our next sale coordinators-- Michelle Schul and Laura Troup. They have been on our sale committee for many years, and I feel so thankful that I am able to hand over the reins to them. I know without a doubt that the sale is in good hands and that they will continue to improve and grow the sale in the years to come. As we approach our 20th sale in March, we are implementing some new changes. One of those will be a new tagging system. If you plan to consign with us in the future, these changes will affect you-- and we hope provide you with more control over your items. Please see complete details about this change from Michelle and Laura below. I can't thank you enough for all the encouragement, love, and support you've shown me, and none of our success would've been possible without you and my amazing team of volunteers. This sale became a part of my life, it has taught me so much, and I dearly love the ministry it has become. We have raised almost $600,000 which has been used to help children here and around the world! I am deeply humbled and thankful that I was able to be part of this legacy. Please continue to encourage and support Michelle, Laura, and the entire OCS team! May God continue to bless them and the sale! Change Ahead -- New Tagging System for 2016
A message from our new coordinators- Michelle and Laura: Thank you for supporting us through another very successful Fall/Winter sale. Because of your commitment, children locally and abroad have been blessed for almost a decade by this sale. As one of our previous consignors, we are pleased to be sharing some very exciting news with you. Beginning with the Spring 2016 Sale, we will be converting our tagging system to a program called My Sale Manager! Many of you who have consigned with some of the other large sales in the area are already familiar with My Sale Manager and its many benefits, including the ability to track your items live during the sale and to know what sold at what price. Additionally, it should further streamline the checkout process which leads to more satisfied shoppers (and more of your items selling!). Although we are still almost 6 months away from the next sale (March 4-5, Mark your calendar!), we think it is important to give you advance notice about the change in case you tag gradually throughout the year. You'll need to hold off on tagging your spring clothes. The old tags that you have used in the past will NOT work with new system. Therefore, you will have to wait to tag until after you register for the spring sale and your new tags are generated. Feel free to go ahead and hang clothes and package other items like you have always done. Just don't put a tag on them yet. We understand that, as with any change, there may be some fine-tuning along the way as we all adjust to a slightly different way of tagging. We covet your patience and grace as we adapt to this new system to serve you better. Thank you again for your support as a consignor and we look forward to another great sale in a few short months! ottercreeksale.com // info@ottercreeksale.com
