The proper tagging of your items is extremely important since we will not be able to accept them if they are tagged incorrectly. Please read the following guidelines and contact us if you have further questions.

3 x 5 index cards or card stock-- solid white only-- we use colored index cards to tag our donated items, so if you use colored cards, your items might be pulled mistakenly as "donated" when we sort at the end of the sale.
Wire hangers: All clothing must be hung on wire hangers with the hanger hook pointing to the left so it makes a question mark. Place tag vertically on the right shoulder so it can be easily viewed when hung on the rack. Twelve months and smaller may be hung on plastic hangers. Please use wire for larger sizes-- they take up less space on our racks.
Safety pins: One inch or larger, placing the pin horizontally and catching the garment and the card twice. No straight pins will be allowed. Straight pins will not keep your cards attached to your items, they easily fall out, and they become hazardous to anyone handling your items.
Make sure your tags are attached securely to your items. You may use a tagging gun, but be careful to attach the barb into a secure section of the fabric so that it will not easily pull out.
Pin pants, skirts, and shorts on both sides to the top portion of the hanger so that they hang straight. If they are pinned to the bottom of the hanger, they will slide over to one side and look unpresentable. Never fold over the hanger as they will fall to the floor.
Place smaller accessories such as hats, socks, onesies, etc. in Ziploc bags and tape tag to the outside of the bag with clear packing tape. Do not place the tag inside the bag-- the tag must be removed during check out. Don't tape over the barcode.
Use clear packing tape to attach tag to toys, bikes, strollers, and equipment, but do not tape over the barcode. You can also punch a hole in the top of the tag and use ribbon to secure it to the item.
For toys with additional small parts, place parts in Ziploc bag, tape it closed and tape/tie securely to the toy. Writing your corresponding consignor number somewhere on the bag will help if it becomes separated from the toy.

Boxes are not preferable because they will easily become separated from the shoes during the course of the sale. We cannot guarantee that shoe boxes will be returned if the shoes do not sell.
Please write your consignor number on the bottom of EACH shoe so that if they become separated we can easily match them up. You may use masking tape for this, or write in an inconspicuous place on the sole of the shoe.
Placing shoes in plastic bags does not work well either. Shoppers will try to remove the shoes from the bag to examine them-- even if it has been taped closed. If you place shoes in plastic bags, please remember to attach the index card to the outside of the bag so it can be removed during check-out.

All items must be in good, clean condition and fully assembled. On larger items and equipment (exersaucers, strollers, bouncy seats), tie ribbon or twine to the item and pin your card to the ribbon, or use a hole punch and thread the ribbon through the card.
For large items such as Little Tikes yard toys and large furniture (bunk beds, etc.)-- if it is a hard to transport item, consider leaving it unassembled and instead attach a photo showing it in its assembled state. This will make it easier on you when delivering and easier on the buyer when he tries to load it up to take it home. All parts and pieces MUST be included.
In addition to your printed tag/index card, please put your consignor number and the price of the item somewhere else on the item (on the bottom or side written on masking tape) just in case your original tag is torn off/lost. This will help insure that we can determine who owns the item so that we can sell it. Please do not “double-tag” the item. Writing your consignor number somewhere on a piece of tape is sufficient.
